Career Me
It was meant to be. My entire career has been spent as a planner, organiser and manager in the fast-paced and demanding industry of weddings and events. Over 20 years of making sure everything was running smoothly, everyone was happy and no detail was left unattended, I absolutely loved exceeding expectations. I still do! It was when independent business owners started asking if they could use my transferable skills and know-how to help them grow their business that marked a lightbulb moment.
So, in 2020 just after starting my own family, I said goodbye to the corporate world and set up Clare Wilson, Virtual Assistant and I’ve never looked back. Neither have my clients!

I like to have fun in the snow – it’s my favourite weather

I love a nice, long family walk in the local woods - finished off with cake of course!

My favourite sport is Cricket – honestly, what’s not to love – sitting in the sun, for hours, with an ice-cold beer. A close second is snowboarding!

My hubby is a chef - Bad news, long hours. Good news, great food!

The thing I love most is travelling - in the words of one of my son’s bedtime stories “the world is an exciting place full of fun, adventure and lots and lots of people.”

My perfect date is a day in the city (any city!) sampling street food and cocktails

I’m proudly deaf and live comfortably and confidently with this - it doesn’t define me!
